Terms of Use (EULA)
1. Licence agreement
Your use of Road Companion is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
The licensor is KUZEY VIP PROMOSYON BILISIM SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI. The points below add to the Apple EULA and do not replace it. If anything here conflicts with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA applies.
2. Safety notice
Road Companion is an assistive tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is no substitute for rest.
You remain responsible for driving safely at all times. Do not rely on the app to keep you awake. If you feel tired, stop somewhere safe and rest, whether or not the app has warned you.
- The app can miss signs of drowsiness, or warn when you are not drowsy. Its view can be affected by the position of the phone, lighting, glasses or sunglasses, and by anything that covers your face.
- On iPhone the app must stay on screen. If it goes to the background, tracking stops and a notification tells you so. While it is not on screen, it does not watch you.
- Mount the phone securely, where it does not block your view of the road, and follow the laws on phone mounts where you drive.
- Do not handle the phone while driving. Set it up before you set off.
3. Price and purchases
Road Companion is a paid app bought once through the App Store. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Road Companion is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. KUZEY VIP PROMOSYON BILISIM SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI is not liable for any accident, injury, damage or loss arising from the use of the app or from being unable to use it, including warnings that were missed, late or not needed.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. The limitation of liability in the Apple EULA also applies.
5. Privacy
The app collects no data. Details: Privacy Policy.
6. Changes
If these terms change, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
